How are YOU getting here?
Our Festival Home is the East of England Arena, formerly known as the East of England Arena, located just outside of Peterborough.
There are lots of signs from the A1 and Peterborough showing directions to the Showground and the post code for Sat Nav is PE2 6HE.
If you are travelling from Peterborough City Centre – take the Nene Parkway/A1260, follow directions to Oundle Road/A605 and turn right onto this road, which will lead you directly to the venue. The brown highway signs indicating East of England Showground will help to guide you. The journey is approximately 16 minutes from the centre of Peterborough.
If you are travelling from the A1(M) South – continue along the A1(M), passing the Peterborough Services (Extra MSA); continue forward onto the A1 and then take the next turn left, signposted East of England Showground. At the junction with the A605, turn left and travel half a mile. At the roundabout, turn right, and you have arrived at Peterborough Arena.
If you are travelling from the A1(M) North – ignore the very first signpost for Peterborough and continue travelling along the A1 picking up the brown highways signposts indicating East of England Showground. Follow these signs and leave the A1 at Alwalton, taking you through the village and onto the A605 Oundle Road junction. Turn left at this junction and at the very next roundabout, turn right and you’ve arrived at Peterborough Arena.
We recommend that you plan your journey in advance and ensure you allow sufficient time to get to the venue, especially for those with Premium Celebrity Show Tickets, as session times cannot be swapped.
Where can I park…
We have plenty of Car Parking at the venue, which is signposted from the A59 in both directions. Parking is free!
Please consider using Public Transport!
Arrive by Train…
Peterborough has an excellent train service with regular trains from across the UK. There is a bus which goes directly from the train station to the venue and is number 54.
Arrive by Bus…
The Stagecoach bus service runs an hourly service during the week and two-hourly Sunday service, stopping just outside Peterborough Arena. The bus numbers to look for are x4 and 24 leaving Bay 15 at Queensgate, Peterborough.
The bus stop is located on the main road fronting the venue (Oundle Road). A five to 10-minute walk will bring you to our main entrance gate.

What does the Ticket Price Include?
Please read the Ticket Type section carefully which accompanies each ticket type on the Universe ticket system. If you have any specific queries please contact our team.
Why is there a booking fee?
Running a ticket agency costs money – the costs of premises, IT, staff, communication, etc, have to be covered – and, in addition, agents provide a service to their customers which has value. Ticket agents are also commercial enterprises, which often have the interests of shareholders to consider. A fee, often calculated as a percentage of the price of each ticket, is therefore added by agents on top of a ticket’s face value to cover both their costs of sale and as a charge for the service provided.
Why is there a Stripe card processing?
This fee is similar to the booking fee but is charged by the company that processes the card payments for the same reasons as above.
I can’t find my tickets / they have not been emailed to me?
If you do not receive an email with your tickets following your purchase please check your SPAM/Junk mailbox as some service providers send unknown emails automatically to this folder.
If they are not showing there, your tickets are available on your Universe account to download at any time. Please go to Universe.com and log in with your email address, you can navigate to the top right avatar and click “Your Tickets”, you can then view and download your tickets at your leisure. If you haven’t created a password or forgotten it please click ‘Log In’ then click ‘Forgotten Password’. This will allow you to both create a password or reset a previous one.
Please check that you have entered the correct address on your Universe Account. If you still can’t find them please contact us directly.
Can Tickets be purchased on the Day of the Festival?
Yes, tickets can be bought on the day but will be approximately £5 extra each.
Are Children free?
Children aged 7 or under are free to enter the Festival with an Adult who has purchased a Standard Entrance Ticket. For Health & Safety reasons we require a ratio of one adult to four (4) children seven years old or under. Children seven or under may attend the Celebrity Chef Sessions if they can sit quietly on an Adults Lap and not disturb other attendees. Is there Disabled Access?
Our Festival Home is a grassy field, so may therefore be challenging for wheelchair users, due to the nature of the venue. We do have dedicated Disabled Parking (for Blue Badge Holders) which is located nearer to the entrances, our Traffic Management Team will direct you.
Please notify us if you intend to purchase a Celebrity Chef Ticket as we will need to allocate a Disabled (Wheelchair) Space. Please note these are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
There are dedicated Disabled Toilets which are shown on the festival layout map inside the Event Guide, which you will receive on arrival.
If you have any questions or need any help during the Festival please speak to one of our Team.
Are Carers allowed Free Admission into the Festival?
To ensure that the festival is available to all we offer disabled ticket holders, subject to availability, a free ticket for a Carer. This offer is open to those who hold a current higher rate of DLA, or other UK government approved supporting evidence of their requirement for a Carer. Carer tickets can only be issued against a standard adult entrance ticket.
Please note that this offer is only available to those people that would be unable to attend the festival without a full time assistance. Every application is assessed on an individual basis and if anyone is found to be making a fraudulent application, we reserve the right to cancel both the original ticket and the carer ticket, before and during the event.
Please note that Celebrity Chef Tickets are not part of this offer. To be accompanied for a Celebrity Chef session the Carer will also require a ticket.

Can I attend the Festival if I have a Food Allergy?
All our Exhibitor’s make every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause the most common allergic reactions, however, there is always a risk of cross contamination and those with allergies should be aware of this. Please check with an Exhibitor and they will be able to advise.
